In the tape, Eshel says that Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit’s decision to indict Netanyahu in three corruption cases actually helped the premier in his campaign. “He went up by 20 percent” Eshel recalls, though it was unclear what numbers he was referring to.

“If you haven’t stolen, what exactly have you come [into politics] for? We’ve checked this. And to my shock, they [the public] do not understand [this notion] of going into politics to do what’s good for the nation. You go into politics in order to steal and you need to be a man,” Eshel claims, not yet specifying which public he was referring to.

“Now, in this public, I’ll call it… non-Ashkenazi…What gets them worked up? Why do they hate the press?… They hate everything and we’ve succeeded in whipping up that hatred. Hatred is what unites our camp,” Eshel says plainly.

Rep. John Lewis: 'We Must Vote Like We Never, Ever Voted Before'

Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) made a surprise appearance at this year’s “Bloody Sunday” commemorative march in Selma, Alabama, where he delivered an impassioned plea to voters, CNN reports.

Said Lewis: “Fifty-five years ago, a few of our children attempted to march… across this bridge. We were beaten, we were tear-gassed. I thought I was going to die on this bridge. But somehow and some way, God almighty helped me here. We must go out and vote like we never, ever voted before.”

He added: “I’m not going to give up. I’m not going to give in. We’re going to continue to fight. We need your prayers now more than ever before. We must use the vote as a nonviolent instrument or tool to redeem the soul of America.”

Lindsey Graham opponent drops bombshell about surprise voter turnout in South Carolina's GOP countie

Taking note of the huge turnout –particularly by African-American voters — in South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Saturday, the presumptive nominee to face Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the Republican incumbent should be terrified by what he might face in the 2020 general election.

Speaking with MSNBC host Joy Reid, former South Carolina Democratic Party chairman Jaime Harrison said the huge turnout should be a red flag for the Trump-supporting Republican who holds a slim lead in the polls.

Asked about the “decisive” win by former Vice President Joe Biden, Harrison explained what he saw on the ground in his home state.

“I was a bit surprised,” Harrison admitted. “But the thing that really surprised me, Joy, was the turnout numbers here in South Carolina. We almost eclipsed — we’ll get the final word maybe today or tomorrow — the historic turnout we saw in the 2008 election with Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards. I never thought we would get that close, we far surpassed what we saw in 2016.”

Coronavirus-THEY Don't Want Us To KNOW.

On MSNBC Saturday, health policy analyst Laurie Garrett warned that there is no way to know for sure — in large part, because our testing capabilities are nowhere near where they need to be.

“It’s far more infectious than the flu and far more deadly than the flu,” said Garrett, referring to comments from Trump and radio host Rush Limbaugh that it was no worse than the flu. “And it is like trying to keep from getting a cold. The best way to think about it is half of all common colds are from the same family of viruses, coronaviruses. If you think about how hard it is to not get a cold when your child comes home sneezing from school or when you go to the office and somebody you work with has a cold, then you realize how contagious it is.”

“The CDC can’t do the test … this is the problem,” continued Garrett. “The test failed. The test isn’t working. It has to be completely rethought, remade. And now the problem is you have jurisdiction after jurisdiction around the country saying, FDA, loosen your rules, let us develop our own tests. We can do it faster. We have the technology in place, we have the scientists in place. Let us do our testing.”

“In the entire United States, we’ve only tested about 450 people. That’s it,” said Garrett. “And you look across the world, and all sorts of countries are way ahead of us with tens of thousands of people having been tested. Even up to a million people being tested. We have no idea how pervasive this virus is in America. And anybody who’s telling you otherwise is full of crap.”
