750,000 Unscientific People Donate to Bernie Crushing Donald Trump Adding 100,000 in One Month!

He destroys his opponents in 'unscientific' polls which the media quickly deletes.

And he destroys them AGAIN with now over 750,000 'unscientific' individual donors.

100,000 new donors in Hillary's 'great month'.

And his movement is growing every single day!

The People Stand With Bernie Sanders And Crush Billionaire Trump By Surpassing 750,000 Donors

Donald Trump has gotten a great deal of mainstream media attention for the number of donations to his campaign, but Bernie Sanders announced that he has surpassed 750,000 donors, which means that he is at minimum more than ten times bigger than Trump.

Of course the Old Media ignores the REAL NEWS and focuses on Entertainment, The Reality TV Star, the Benghazi Show etc.

But thanks to the more powerful New Media, we do get to hear about real issues and real news!

To put the staggering numbers of Sen. Sanders into context, Donald Trump has taken in 73,942 contributions. Bernie Sanders has 750,000 donors.

Bernie Sanders has gained 100,000 new donors in a month. His growth is all the more impressive because Hillary Clinton has been on a roll over the last few weeks. The Clinton campaign has taken back the momentum in the Democratic primary race and now leads in three of the first four contests. Clinton also leads nationally among Democrats.

I'm sure all of this is very 'unscientific'. REAL PEOPLE voting or donating doesn't really mean anything because people are NOT scientific. So we are told anyhow.

Sen. Sanders is building a movement that will go on even if he doesn’t win the Democratic nomination. The Sanders movement will return to the Senate with him, and the battle against the corporate and billionaires interests will continue.

The Sanders message is resonating to the point where three-quarters of a million Americans have opened their wallets and said enough is enough. Bernie Sanders is steadily building a movement that could change America.

Fortunately people in the real world don't care much about the Corporate Media's non issues related shows, and are quietly focusing on changing this country before it is completely swallowed by Corporations and Wall St Banks.

'Congress doesn't control Wall St, Wall St Controls Congress'
- The truth stated by Bernie Sanders in the first Democratic Primary Debate that WON that debate for him as people all over the country applauded him for saying what few of our politicians have the guts to say!

Bernie Sanders the next President of the United States!

Bernie's Movement TOO BIG to Handle Scheduled National Conference Call!

National Conference Call of Bernie 2016 tonight Cancelled Because Movement is Just Too Big

This movement is growing!

This conference calling company just can't handle everyone trying to call in ~~ these guys are the ones you go to when you are really, really big!

Tonight's call is cancelled -- awful about this! But we don't want to waste anyone else's time.

Because of Last week's organizing call, created this week were more than 1,400 events to beat last week's record of 1,130 events -- that's a 25% increase!!

This is just going to get better and better each week! This may become the Bernie 2016 one-stop call to get the latest from National staff, and coordinate across your state.

Away from all the noise, Bernie is quietly building the Political Movement necessary to bring about the changes that are so desperately needed in this country.

Who would have imagined just a few months ago how successful this would be?

No wonder we are seeing the increase in attacks from Hillary's Campaign, and now from Republicans who mentioned him several times in the debate!

Bernie's supporters are AWESOME!!

Hillary's direct quote on Raising the Retirement age: 'I would consider it'!

Since we're editing out full quotes and posting only part of them in titles, this OP will at least post that full quote!

Thirdly, we do have to consider ways to make sure that the funding of Social Security does maintain the system. I think we have a number of options; this would be something that I would look at, I would not favor raising the retirement age. And I don’t favor it because it might be fine for somebody like me, but the vast majority of working people who have worked hard and have had a difficult, maybe last couple of decades trying to continue to work, it would be very challenging for them. If there were a way to do it that would not penalize or punish laborers and factory workers and long-distance truck drivers and people who really are ready for retirement at a much earlier age, I would consider it. But I have yet to find any recommendation that I would think would be suitable.

Clear as can be. If someone can present her with a plan that would exclude SOME workers, she would consider supporting Raising the Retirement Age.

No Democrat should be willing to do that.

Edited for accuracy. Hillary said she 'would' not she 'will' consider it.
October 30, 2015

The Answer to 'Should We Raise Retirement Age' for any Democrat is simple: NO! NO! and NO Again!

But that is NOT what Hillary Clinton said is it?

Editing to add Hillary's direct quote:

Say It Ain't So Hillary Clinton You're Open to the Idea of Raising the Retirement Age

But I have yet to find any recommendation that I would think would be suitable.

No Democrat should ever make a statement like that regarding raising the Retirement Age. There is only one answer to that question for any Democrat.

VP Biden and Bernie Sanders Discuss American People's Top Issue in 2016 Campaign in 1 on 1 Meeting!

Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden Hold Koch Killing Meeting To Discuss Money In Politics

Vice President Biden may not be a candidate, but he held a one on one meeting with Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to discuss getting the Koch billionaire dollars out of our politics.

According to the Sanders campaign:

Among the many issues they discussed was the need to address campaign finance reform so that the wealthy and powerful cannot wield undue influence in the political process. They also spoke about the need to extend public education in the United States through college so every young person in America, regardless of income, will be able to get a college education.

The meeting with Vice President also speaks volumes about the success of the Sanders presidential campaign. Bernie Sanders has become such a force in the Democratic primary that he is invited to one on one meetings with the Vice President. The fact that Sanders and Biden discussed getting the billionaire dollars out of our politics should terrify the Koch oligarchs who are attempting to buy the federal government.

Bernie Sanders is slowly winning the battle against the billionaires. The popular movement of millions that he is building is having an impact at the highest levels of our government. With his political revolution growing, Bernie Sanders is landing blows against the billionaires.

In so many polls the American People say that Getting the Money out of Politics is a #1 Issue for them.

Negative Campaigns funded by that Corporate Money through Super Pacs also very unpopular with the people.

Biden and Bernie are on the page regarding the Money in Politics. See here:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251577777 where Biden told a group of Bernie Supporters:

"Vote for Bernie, he's a good man" and emphasized how important it is to GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS which is Bernie's main message!

Could Joe be thinking of participating in Bernie's growing Political Revolution?

October 28, 2015

Seriously, Secretary Clinton?

You believe you are a victim of men 'shouting you down'? Seriously? Is that why you voted for the Iraq War, supported the awful Welfare Reform Act, Doma, the TPP among other awful policies that so adversely affected the lives of millions of people? Men shouted you down?

This is the image you want to portray, not just of yourself, but women in general?

I strenuously object to that portrayal of women. It sets women back several generations to the point where that WAS the way women were portrayed.

It kept them from occupying positions of power, from being taken seriously on issues that 'only men were capable of dealing with'.

Women were viewed as weak,they needed protection, belonged in their homes, too emotional to be trusted with jobs that required strength and leadership abilities.

Since then women have fought hard to erase those images and to some extent, though there is more work to be done, have succeeded. They still have not achieved equality in the workplace, there are not enough women in our government, but we are, or thought we were, making progress.

I hope your portrayal of yourself is not taken as a portrayal of women in general. Women have fought too hard for too long AGAINST the stereotype!

It was, to say the least, a very unfortunate remark.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But I want to talk about a woman who absolutely rejects the notion that she might view herself as a victim.
She is also running for the office of President of her country, an election the world is currently watching.
Her name is Aung San Suu Kyi!
You can read her amazing biography HERE
Last night I watched an interview with her and was struck by the contrast between her and our female candidate for President.
Knowing her life story, she certainly could legitimately claim to have been a victim.
However, when she was asked how she felt about being so victimized, she adamantly refused to accept that characterization:
'But, I was NOT a victim' - she stated.
The interviewer seemed surprised and pressed her on the question, again, asking her WHY she does not consider herself a victim!
'How can I be a victim when everything was MY CHOICE?' She insisted.
How refreshing. A woman who REFUSES to be characterized as a victim DESPITE, or maybe BECAUSE of the incredible tragedy her life has been.
No complaining about victimhood from her!
She is strong, despite or again, maybe because of all the adversities she has faced.
Separated from her two sons, unable to watch them grow up.
Unable to visit her husband in England as he lay dying.
Her decades-long loss of freedom, a conniving, brutal Military Junta really, seriously out to 'get her' and they did.
Yet she insists pretty strongly that she is not a victim, she refuses to consider that at all.
I know she and Hillary have met. I wonder what she thinks of a woman like Hillary claiming to be victim?
Their policies on War eg could not be further apart.
She is for peaceful resolution of conflicts despite, or maybe BECAUSE of all the brutality she witnessed in her own country.
After watching this beautiful, strong woman last night, I felt a little sad for this country where powerful women who have been so privileged all their lives, rather than appreciate how fortunate they are, or show the strength women possess, choose instead to claim victimhood.
Bernie V Burma/Myanmar's Military Junta?
How embarrassing for us as a nation and especially for women!
When will the 'scientific polls' start polling all potential primary voters?
Just wondering, so far I've seen just one poll of Independent voters which showed Bernie way ahead of Hillary.
And while it's hard to poll non-registered voters, we have been signing up people from that huge demographic for Bernie, getting them back into the system, in open primary states they cannot be tracked by polls.
Here in NY however, a closed primary state with a ridiculously early registration date, planned to occur before the first debate, we managed to get some previously non voters registered as Democrats. So far, not one of them has been polled.
Whoopi is a smart woman. She recognizes intelligence, integrity, honesty, authenticity and sincerity when she sees it.
The Race Card, the Red Card, the Gender Card! All being played by the Hillary Campaign.
Bernie Sanders corrects the record on the ISSUES that Hillary kind of glossed over and tried to put a new spin on.
Her campaign whines in response: Bernie is going negative!!
Lol, the TRUTH isn't negative, except to those for whom it is inconvenient!
DOMA eg.
That is a new one, 'I vote against something because I'm for it and I support something because I'm against it'.
Well, I guess you can't keep sayiing, 'that was a mistake'!
On Getting money out of Politics.
'I take it so I can get it out of politics'!
My head spins when I read every new excuse for the support of policies that no Democrat should have supported.
Edited to include the Anti-Semitic Card, despicably played against Sanders questioning his loyalty.
H/T to Sheepshank for the reminder in this thread!
I guess this is why her campaign works so hard to DISTRACT from all these mental gymnastics to try to distract from the Issues because when people FOCUS on the issues, her record doesn't hold up very well.
So, they bring out the CARDS! And they use them to try to pull people AWAY from the issues she cannot explain.
Bernie doesn't use such negative tactics.
Nor does he use Corporate Funded Super Pacs to PLANT RED CARD SMEARS in the Media.
He doesn't use surrogates or paid operatives to address the Issues or to DISTRACT FROM THEM.
HE handles these things HIMSELF.
That's what a leader does.
No sneaky smear campaigns for Bernie. He tells the truth PUBLICLY.
The Cards being played are NOT resonating with the public.
The People care about the ISSUES.
Political Dirty Tricks are now thoroughly despised by a majority of the People.
So I watch them play the Race Card, the Red Card, the Gender Card and I know they are dooming Hillary's campaign so why would I try to stop them?
I don't! I focus on the ISSUES and PROMOTING my Candidate because it is so easy to do that.
He IS one of the BEST Candidates for the Democratic Party nomination in a very long time.
We don't need any 'Cards' to try to distract from OUR candidate.
It's obvious that Hillary's campaign feels THEY do.
Keep on telling the TRUTH Bernie! That's all you need to do!
Edited to add: The Anti-Semitic Card
One of the lower moments in this campaign season.
to DUer Sheepshank for the reminder ...
"Bernie, Paul Wellstone & An Immoral Vote for War ...... " Sen. Wellstone died 13 years ago today ..
I will never forget the tragic day when we learned of the small plane crash that killed Wellstone, his wife, daughter and five other people:
Bernie, Paul Wellstone And An Immoral Vote For War That Disqualifies One Democrat From Being President
Thirteen years ago today, Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash while he was campaigning for re-election. Each year, on this day, I write something about Paul as a small way to remember an astonishingly great Senator--besides Bernie Sanders, he's the only politician in the last 30-40 years I'd walk over hot coals to help.
And, today, it's worth joining Paul and Bernie together to highlight a key similarity: their opposition to the Iraq War contrasted with Hillary Clinton's embrace of the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld illegal and immoral war--and why that vote should disqualify her from being chosen as the Democratic nominee for presidency.
'Wellstone, an astonishly great Senator' ~ I could not agree more! There were so few back then that we could count on to try to stop the lying, warmongering, traitors who started us down a path that THEY said would last 'months, weeks' which some of us, including Wellstone and Bernie did NOT believe and turned out to be tragically correct.
This was true of Paul, as it is true of Bernie:
``There are people who will not vote for Paul Wellstone because he's too nutty left,'' Lilly Goren, chairwoman of the political science department at the College of St. Catherine in Minnesota, said recently. ``At the same time, there are people who will vote for Paul Wellstone even if they don't agree with his politics because he's willing to speak out on stuff.''
That willingness to speak out, and to speak out courageously, was most evident in the war vote. Paul was killed (along with his wife, Sheila, his daughter, Marcia, Will McLaughlin, a campaign staff member, Tom Lapic, campaign staff member, Mary McEvoy, campaign staff member and pilots Richard Conry, captain, and Michael Guess, co-pilot) not long after he cast his vote against the war authorization.
I commend to you both Paul's speech and Bernie's speech, and how remarkably similar they are in touching on important issues--like valuing the lives of people who would be sent to war including the thousands of people who would be killed in Iraq.
As Bernie says today, he did not believe George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld.
Stand up please: is there any Democrat among you who believed those three people, all of who should have been impeached and removed from office for lying to Congress and the American public and/or indicted later for war crimes?
There was at least one: Hillary Clinton. This was the most consequential vote she cast, as a U.S. Senator, when she had the power of a vote.
This wasn't just one vote--as people argue who want to cover up the devastation this vote caused for political gain.
At the cost of tens of thousands of lives, American and Iraqi, and at a financial cost of $2-$3 trillion dollars (and counting--based on the analysis by Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz), Hillary Clinton voted for the war.
At the feet of Hillary Clinton, and all those who voted for the war, lies this reality: the war spawned ISIS. But for the war, ISIS, and the fracturing of the entire region into a landscape of carnage, would not have occurred. And because of that carnage, thousands of more people die in the region, and we pour billions of dollars more into more war and more war.
Today, she lamely, and disingenuously, says, oh, it was a mistake to vote for the war--but she never quite explains what the mistake was...
Was it that she believed Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld--which would, at the very least, disqualify her as being entirely incompetent to judge such a momentous policy decision of war and peace, a moment when it was her vote to cast, as distinguished from serving the policy of someone else in her role of Secretary of State (a role that remains, in my opinion, pretty hazy beyond the campaign hagiography about what she actually accomplished).
Was that she didn't bother to read the National Intelligence Estimate, which was available to Senators to view in a secure room, before voting? Former Sen. Bob Graham has publicly stated that he urged her to read the Estimate because he said it demonstrated the falseness of the Administration’s stated rationale for the war. He specifically urged Clinton to do so—and she did not bother to do so.
Hillary Clinton's war vote was entirely about one thing, and no matter how much fog and fraudulent weak papering over the sycophants want to do today, tens of thousands of people lost their lives and we lost trillions of dollars we could have used for schools, health care and a whole host of things for a simple reason: Clinton's future political career and the need for her "to look tough" if she wanted to stake a claim to what the Clintons view is their right to the presidency. If she wasn't incompetent in her believing the Bush Administration, then, there is no other explanation. You see the bind, the obvious conclusion that no one wants to say repeatedly until we get a straight answer?
Look, the traditional media seems to not dig very deeply into this and Anderson Cooper was more interested in red-baiting Bernie Sanders than pressing Clinton about her vote for the war.
And you can live in a fantasy world and believe all the other promises, and you can believe the flip-flops on TPP and Keystone are real (I'm looking for a bookie to place a bet that, if god forbid, Clinton is sworn in on January 2017, within a year, there will be all the moaning and whining about the "new" positions on trade, Keystone) and you can turn a blind eye to what the phrase "I get things done" and a pledge to working with Republicans means (uh, you think Erskine Bowles, the co-chair of the Catfood Commission, who held a one percent fundraiser for HRC, with the candidate in attendance, won't be trying to dust off that immoral Commission document and convince her to make a deal to implement that shit, which is effectively a cut in Social Security and Medicare) and on and on.
But the Iraq War consequences are fact, not debate.
Thousands of people wake up every day in this country still devastated by the loss of a father, son, mother, daughter or friend who was killed in that illegal war. They were sacrificed for politics. Their lives tossed away for political gain in the status quo global machinations of power and leverage and influence.
Tens of thousands of others will live to the end of their lives with horrendous wounds that will never heal. Personally, when I hear HRC and others utter that completely empty phrase "I support the troops and honor their sacrifice," I feel deep revulsion, almost to the point of wanting to puke, because it's a political phrase with not an ounce of authenticity.
Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were killed and wounded in the war. The lives of those who survived remind me of that phrase "The living will envy the dead."
This is what a political revolution is about. It's the integrity inherent in the memory of people like Paul Wellstone, and in the integrity in what Bernie Sanders represents.
People who will not let people die for political gain.
The rest of them: it's all the status quo. And a status quo built on bloodshed and violence.
We cannot--CANNOT--let that status quote have the reins of power. ever again.
RIP Senator Wellstone! Our nation suffered a great loss that day!
