center rising's JournalIf Gingrich is the nominee, how many states does he win??
I see the following states for Newt.
Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana and Virginia.
A total of 21 states and 183 electoral votes.
Obama wins the rest. 355 EV's.
Winners and losers #9
My winners and losers for the past week;
Winners;
1, Barack Obama. He continues to show good strength in the latest polls from various polling groups, and he is standing up to the Republicans, (so far), in this payroll tax fight. Obama has done enough compromising with the Republicans over the past year, and he needs to stay the course and continue fighting for the middle class. He's on the winning side of at least this issue.
2, Ron Paul. Now that Newtie is falling apart in the polls from Iowa, it seems the conservatives are now casting Paul as the latest "Anyone but Romney" candidate. Will this be the last change we will see in Iowa?? I seriously doubt it, but as for right now, Paul had the momentum.
Losers;
1, John Boehner and Eric Cantor. That's right folks. The terrible twosome are more interested in placating the teabagger nutjobs, that they are willing to stick their heads into the noose, and raise taxes on 160 million working men and women This stance by these twits are so bad that even morons like Karl Rove and the editorial board of the Wall St. Journal are denouncing these trolls. Way to win over the American people assholes!!!
2, Newt Gingrich. Two weeks ago, Newtie was riding high in the polls and it looked like it was a mere forgone conclusion that he was going to win in Iowa, and be the real frontrunner. Two weeks later, after some devastating attacks by fellow Republicans, he finds himself falling fast. How far will he fall before Jan. 3rd??
3, Kim Jong Il. his death a couple days ago, brings a sorry and sick end to this dictators reign of evil. Building up tensions with South Korea, the US and others with missile tests, and provocations, while in turn living the life of luxury while his people literally starved to death, really shows just how much this man was demented. Rot in hell you bastard!!!

Huntsman getting some traction in New Hampshire??
Newest New Hampshire poll from Suffolk University out this morning has him third in the race with 13%. Mitt Romney still has an 18% over Newt Gingrich. Some of the independents who can vote in New Hampshire, are apparently supporting Huntsman in the realm that independents supported John McCain against George Bush. (I happened to be one of them who went for McCain).
In my opinion, Newt has peaked in New Hampshire and Huntsman will benefit with more independents and some Romney supporters who may switch because they don't entirely trust Mittens.
He'll pull an OJ and attempt to go find the real insurrectionists.
