Miles Archer's JournalKirk Cameron Thinks Grammys' Gay Marriages Were An 'Assault On The Traditional Family'
Thirty-three couples might have had the greatest night ever when they got married at the 2014 Grammy Awards, but actor Kirk Cameron was not impressed.
On Sunday, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed their equal rights anthem "Same Love" alongside Mary Lambert and Madonna while Queen Latifah officiated the marriages of 33 couples, gay and straight. After the show, Cameron took to Facebook to air his grievances over the same-sex ceremonies, calling the display an "assault on the traditional family."
In the post -- which has since been deleted from his Facebook but saved in a screen grab by The Wrap -- Cameron wrote, in part:

Name a performer / band you REDISCOVERED after getting sick of them for a while.
For me, it's Fleetwood Mac...and I'm a fan of all eras, from Peter Green to Buckingham Nicks, but I have to say that I OD'd on the Buckingham Nicks stuff back in the day (ESPECIALLY Rumours).
BUT...time passes and I have rediscovered just how tightly composed and impeccably arranged a lot of their songs were.
SO...what performer / band have you heard with fresh ears?
This whole Trent Reznor "F the Grammys" thing...
OK, first of all, I thought the "supergroup" kind of sucked, and Reznor's song in particular...as well as his performance...was nothing to write home about.
Second, if they ask you to CLOSE the show and they are already TEN minutes late, chances are good that you'll have the closing credits rolling over your ass.
I thought his rant was crybaby bullshit, diva behavior. IT WAS THE GRAMMYS. The same guys who gave Jethro Tull that "best heavy metal band" award.
THE GRAMMYS! EXPECT half-assed and when you get it don't whine about it!
Chill the fuck out, Reznor.
Romney: Chris Christie "took responsibility" and "has moved on as a leader"
He took responsibility, he fired people that were responsible for the scandal, and he has moved on as a leader, Romney told theTODAY Show Friday in an exclusive interview. I do believe that the American people want to see a strong leader in the White House, and he is.
Romney claimed Christie bears a similarity to former President Lyndon B. Johnson, who pushed through civil rights reform because he was a strong leader.
Were watching right now a Washington that cant get the job done. Chris does, and I think thats one of the reasons hes as popular as he is, Romney said, noting that he has been in touch with the governor recently.
Romneys interview with TODAY host Savannah Guthrie came on the heels of Fridays release of the documentary Mitt on Netflix. The 90-minute film looks at the trials and tribulations endured by the two-time presidential candidate and his family.

Say it ain't so ... there's no Muskrat Love left for Captain & Tennille ... they're getting divorced ... and the Captain tells TMZ he didn't see it coming.
Toni (Tennille) filed legal docs in Arizona. They've been married for 39 years.
If you don't know ... you should. They had a string of hits in the 70s, including "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Muskrat Love" and "Do that to Me One More Time."
Daryl Dragon (The Captain) is 71. Yeah, it's Dragon.
Daryl tells TMZ ... "I don't know why she filed. I gotta figure it out for myself first." He also said they're still living together in the same house.

3.5 million viewers bail on "Duck," because when it comes to TV, There’s more there!
Fans no longer give a quack about "Duck Dynasty."
TV Line reports that 8.5 million people tuned in for the fifth season premiere of "Duck Dynasty" on Wednesday (Jan. 15), down from 12 million viewers who watched the fourth season premiere.
In the highly sought after age demographic of 18-49, only 4.2 million tuned in.
When Phil Robertson insulted black people and gay people back in December, creating a huge uproar in the media, fans passionately defended the patriarch, but the ratings haven't held up.

Rolling Stone poll: "What Is the Best Double LP of All Time?"
I'm torn between "The White Album" and "Exile On Main Street."
Cast your vote in our weekly poll
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/what-is-the-best-double-lp-of-all-time-20140103
Pop acts have been releasing double albums since Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde in 1966. There have been countless classics since then, from The White Album by the Beatles all the way to Reflektor by Arcade Fire.
So we have a question for you: What is your favorite double album? We're going to count anything that was originally released on two vinyl records or two CDs. (Some releases, like London Calling and Exile on Main Street were two records, but fit onto a single CD. Those will obviously count.) There's a ton to pick from, including Pink Floyd's The Wall, Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway and OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
