64. I was preparing a response to the "we are all being silly about Trump's bloodbath comment.

when that thread was self deleted. It just stunned me to hear someone believe it was just Trump being stupid or talking about the auto industry. There are literally hundreds of examples of him exhorting violence.

The most obvious is his involvement in and response to the January 6 insurrection. He called in the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers and others to spear head the attack on the capital and knew they would come armed. When their arms were discovered by metal detectors, he told security to let them in anyway. "They were his people" he said. He let them vandalize and brutalize capital police for 3 hours while they terrorized Congress and threatened to hang the Speaker and the VP. Now he praises them as patriots and hostages. There have been countless other examples of his inner brutality and willingness to invoke violence.

Now this giant deranged, soulless asshole is facing complete disgrace and an excruciating narcissistic wound from losing again and going to jail for life. If you think he wasn't deliberately messaging his thugs and thralls and trying to terrify those who impose him, you are being impossibly silly, slow or worse.
