Letter Carriers Once Again Have Highly Successful Food Drive

1. I don't leave food, I'd rather save the guy a hernia operation

so I donate cash. The local food bank claims they can multiply each dollar 15-17 times, depending on season, and I have no reason to doubt them.

What I'd be more likely to donate would be what I missed during my last bout with poverty, fruit. It would have to be canned fruit because they don't want perishables, and thus the hernia.

I'm hoping my money will extend to the occasional crate of apples.
