(10,044 posts)27. I've heard that ebola in the US would not be as lethal as in Africa...
Our washing of everything and antibiotics, more clinics, hospitals, and our literacy level is higher so that the disease can handled and cured more easily.
And our dead would be disposed of more quickly and not lie on the streets because of the fear in handling them.
No picnic no matter where ebola spreads, but people have been cured with the right treatment.

Ebola is scary.....but it's highly unlikely to cause any problems in the U.S.

Ebola doesn't frighten me because I am in the US. I can completely understand your fear though.
