Chinese netizens test their 'fitness' by wrapping 100 yuan notes around their wrists [View all]

The nonsense never ends on the Chinese internet! Another truly meaningless "fitness" challenge has gone viral over the weekend. You'll never guess which body part is to be judged this time around

To prove that you possess the perfect body, simply roll a 100 yuan note around your wrist, if your wrist is totally covered by the cash, yippee! You passed. Now take a video so you can show your friends and not-friends.

"100 yuan wrist" has become one of the hottest trending topics on Weibo, as well as the video sharing app Meipai. While some netizens seem to be getting tired of this whole thing, others were happy to participate in one of the simpler challenges the Chinese internet has spawned:

"First A4 waist, then iPhone 6 legs, now 100 yuan wrist? I am so proud to announce that there is finally one challenge I can meet! So easy!" whooped one netizen on Weibo.

"It's fine to do this challenge with my wrist, but if they are going to try the 100 yuan note challenge with the thigh in the future, then I will be doomed to failure," commented another netizen.
