The questions he asked were about equality of opportunity regardless of economic status.

She provided no answers and he cut her off several times.

Senators of the same party frequently share the lines of questioning they are taking to avoid excessive redundancy and thereby "wasting questions."

Diminishing his line of questioning suggests you hadn't thought of that.

It actually is important that we consider the children of the working poor.
