Someone here in the law firm where I work told me that putting two spaces after a period is no longer done.
Have you heard this? What do you think?

My 31 yr old daughter told me it is now 1. Used to be 2. Doesn't look right with 1, though!

Two. That's how I learned to type (thank you Mrs. Hunter), but modern publishing says one.
