In case there were any lingering doubts about genetics and heredity [View all]

My wife just dug out a 40 year old photo of me and our elder daughter and put it side by side with a recent pic of her elder son.

You'd think time and gender had been erased.
1984 or 1985, a shot of me and my daughter in Germany:

2024, a recent shot of our elder grandson on Aruba (how come I never got to take long weekends there?):


My wife's genes are evident, anyway.
I guess I'd have to be very tolerant of anyone wondering who my daughter's father is, though!
