Man with gun successfully defends self at Orlando Wal-mart [View all]

This happened about 5 miles from my house...

Orlando police said two men were beating up on another man. The shopper told police he was about to fall to the ground when he took out his gun and pistol-whipped them.

The Walmart was evacuated for nearly two hours while police took photos.

The man with the gun will not be charged, police said, because he has a permit for the weapon and was defending himself.

Good guy won although he was roughed up some. Hopefully the cops will catch the attackers before they strike again.

ETA: I meant, as far as I know, the good guy won. At least what we know from the article, the gun owner acted responsibly and defended himself even though his attackers got away. He may be a total bastard the rest of the time but all we know is what we know.
