1. Yeah, high wind alerts with high profile vehicle warnings are mostly taken seriously

out here. I know I do (though I no longer drive a high-profile SUV or another such vehicle) But, it is not rare to see toppled SUVs, cars, and semis littering I-25--especially north to Wyoming. People take wind gusts lightly at their own risk.
