41. So. What I am hearing here is that your threshold for "ringing endorsement" = pedestal.

You: He will say nice things about her, but will not hold her up as a progressive hero.

This will be the dog whistle, his blinking in Morse code on a hostage video to "great progressives" that he is trapped behind enemy lines?

Is it possible, that as a career politician of 35+ years, Senator Sanders may have been the perfect person, at the perfect time to pull Hillary back toward her decidedly left, decidedly progressive, frequently demonstrated values and instincts?

Could it be, as those closest to SBS say, that his intention in this run was always to pull the party and it's platform leftward back toward it's best self?

Could it be, that SBS may, with assurances that key pieces of his agenda will live on with HRC, actually find it not just advantageous, but amiable to honor his word and go forward with genuine enthusiasm for this historical candidate?
