24. Two Tunnels

Harbor Tunnel (I-95) and the old tunnel that I can't remember the name (I-895). I don't think I've ever been over that bridge. Key Bridge was used by trucks since the tunnels have restrictions. Most folks are on the west side of Baltimore and there's not much as you go east.

Not that the bridge being gone isn't a super inconvenience, it's just one of the relatively lesser ways to get around the area. I think the boat traffic if the river is impassable until the remove the wreckage, is far more detrimental to the economics of the area than the bridge. Probably should be rebuilt as a suspension bridge so there is a larger area to pass under it.

This bridge collapse is scary LetMyPeopleVote Mar 26 #1
Oh, no! This is so tragic! At least it didn't happen during the day with heavy traffic... Rhiannon12866 Mar 26 #3

Same here! At least there wasn't much traffic at that hour. And I'm not a fan of bridges, either, avoid them when I can Rhiannon12866 Mar 26 #6

That's what I was thinking, not much traffic at that hour, thankfully. It would have been bumper-to-bumper during the day Rhiannon12866 Mar 26 #9
