A friend just told me he heard a rumor from an executive secretary at his company. The rumor is that some corporations are holding off on outsourseing until after the election. They don't want the unemployment numbers to hurt Bush! If this is true, it wouldn't surprise me!

...it's true. Sorry for the lack of links. I was also disgusted to see that Carly "You No Longer Have A God-Given Right To A Job" Fiorina was named "most powerful businesswoman." BLEH.
There's probably ALL KINDS OF THINGS that we're not even aware of that are "on hold until after the election"...ramping up outsourcing is just one of them.
