1. My dear MissHoneychurch!
Wow, those are wonderful pics!

You must have a very steady hand to have gotten those low-light ones!

The spiced red wine sounds terrific...:9

5. Arg, another reason to get xmas homesick...
all we have is the fake, lit up 50foot xmas tree in the Dubai Mall... :(

Hope you are enjoying the season and the weather...

For us, it's been rain and cool. More like Seattle than Dubai.

35. Germany gave the U.S. most of the ideas about what an "ideal" Xmas is.
It's kind of funny that something that started in a desert climate in the Middle East has come to mean snow, fir trees, and gingerbread! :)

Beautiful photos!

The only bad part about the photos is that you aren't in any of them. :(

I love big cities with open markets all lit up. Takes my mind off of depressing, freezing, shithole Cleveland, where all tax dollars and promising individuals get their dreams and intentions shattered on the rocks of bad economics and worse luck.

If you are in the mountains you can have luck and have snow. In the north not so much. Frankfurt is too warm already as city with the industry and river. It is rather unusual that it snows nowadays.
But I will be visiting my mom in the Black Forest so the chances that I will have a white Christmas are pretty good :D
