6. She should sue if this happens
Imposing an undemocratic caucus system on a state that regularly votes via primary would be the epitome of underhandedness.

7. A "firehouse caucus" is a more like a primary than a traditional caucus, you dolt...
...

You'd rather have a politburo style election stand in Michigan?

3. It's not a true caucus in Michigan, more like a small primary
so it's not so favorable to Obama as other caucuses- more like New Mexico.

couldn't have anything that favored HIM , now could we? As long as it's HRC's idea and she's still the winner... that's all that matters...

I guess if he organizes well there and ends up winning, she can still sue for a REAL primary?

10. I'm glad they're finding their way out of this mess.
The FL and MI state parties shouldn't have thrown down this gauntlet to begin with, and I hope that they are held accountable in some way. But, much as I like and respect Dean, he and the rest of the DNC leadership bungled badly to threaten a punishment that fell so heavily on the voters that it would become a huge obstacle in the GE, if it were to stand as is.

And who cares what either campaign finds acceptable? They are neither the aggrieved party, nor the governing body in charge of enforcing the rules of the contest.

Hopefully something can be worked out in Florida too. They appear to be much more obstructionist, but perhaps a compromise in MI will create enough public pressure that they will have to back down.
