14. Given the Primary vote in many states is already higher than the
GE in 2004 I think the Repukes are rightly shitting their pants

And I will not suggest not worrying by the way...

But if this election is clean, or fairly clean.. the whigs do come to mind

Edited on Tue May-27-08 01:45 AM by ruby slippers
but I surely won't vote for McCain. I'll probably write in Obama.

Sorry, but that is my true colors....and remember, I am not a registered Democrat....so I don't feel loyal to any party. I am just here now to support you with Barack....remember, you need us and I am watching the Hillary supporters on here very carefully and that is why I remain uncommitted to her. They just need to give it up and so does she.

7. fair enough
I think we need to think of the future.

McNasty will continue a path of destructiveness worse than we have now

My first choice was Edwards now I am rooting for Obama, but should Hillary squeek it out, I will pull the lever for her

we need to correct the path we are on and it will not happen unless a democratic candidate wins

I will support and vote for any Democrat!! I do see Nader getting some votes though, that mistake was made before, I hope those who are thinking about it remember the consequences.

32. This poll omits major possibilities -- there should be choices for "Democratic nominee only if ...
it's ... (Obama, Clinton)", and "other"; even though the poll designer might want to push a principle and a point, it is done at the expense of framing the poll questions even adequately.

As for myself -- as I've said on DU many times -- I'd vote for
either Obama or Clinton if either were the nominee (as if it were in doubt), but not, say for John Silber, and if it were Zell Miller, I'd be very tempted to stay home. I am not willing to be BLINDLY loyal to the Democratic Party, although I am a Democrat, and have voted, and voted consistently for the Democrat for president now for 20 years.

A push poll isn't going to get anyone who would otherwise NOT vote for the Democratic nominee to do so, so the "good deed" aspect of this distorted poll is absent in practice.

I don't know. I may not know until November. At the least, I'll wait until after the convention to mull over my options.

Some of the options aren't on this poll.

FWIW: I don't do loyalty oaths of any kind. At any time. I don't respect those who demand them, or those who use them as a purge.
