Are you Kidding Me!? Middle school principal busted for doing crack deal in his office.

He had the undercover dealer meet him in his office during school hours because he said he felt safe there.

"The officer went to the principal’s office around 3 p.m. and sold Giancola the drug, McElroy said. The principal said he wanted to smoke it right there, but the officer demurred and said he didn’t feel comfortable and would leave. The principal walked the officer out to the school lobby where several other undercover officers were posing as parents, McElroy said."

He had a $300 a day habit. Was it not possible that someone could have noticed
that something wasn't quite right? Seems to me they should also find out whoever
decided this guy should be a middle school principal and ask them a few questions.

1. . . .
"McElroy said the officers tried to make the arrest as subtly as possible so as not to catch the attention of students. She said Giancola was cooperative and apologized to a bank of television reporters as he was led away."

So the cops want to catch the attention of the kids, but they alerted the media? WTF?

2. you'd be surprised the denial that goes on
i've been warning a family member for years that a certain individual was the thieving, stealing, crackhead from hell

FINALLY after a decade, this weekend, the family member has sort of, kind of realized that i'm right

but it still ain't his kin's fault, it's the fault of his rich friend that he met in rehab in 1978

i mean excuse me?

people just don't wanna believe how much drug use is out there and how much crack is still being smoked, so they just kid themselves, it's amazing

3. Maybe drugs aren't so bad after all.
The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

6. but it doesn't work
do you know anyone who has stayed off crack because of rehab?

they're destroying us, they're destroying the rebuilding, they're destroying their families, they're fucking up everything

i was talking to my friend and i'm saying, you know, when we were kids, we were told they would die, and that would be sad, but you know what? they don't die, they don't effing die, they just keep going on and on and on and on stealing everything and making it untenable to rebuild this city

i don't know what to tell you, it would actually be easier if the stuff DID just kill them

5. Didn't he see the "Drug-Free School Zone" sign?
Maybe he was smoking it to keep it out of the hands of kids?

7. That's nothing ... when I was a social worker ...
one of the supervisors used to tell me that one of the other supervisors was a cocaine-addict, but that it was fine with him. He said this despite the fact that the woman had a child, and would abuse the drug at home, and despite the fact that we were taking kids into custody because their parents had gone to jail for an extended stay - for the same thing! The hypocrisy was unbelievable.

He would tell me that she could still do her job; I worked with her - and that was not the case. In fact, we lost another social worker and her twelve-year-old kid, in a car accident - when THAT social worker was higher than a kite and went off a steep mountain drop.

Sometimes, life just seems like a three-ring circus, I swear!
