As I type this, Kentucky (my home state) is under a heat advisory; over 1,000 activists and counting have been arrested protesting the Keystone XL pipeline; and our planet is still undergoing its sixth and largest mass extinction in its history. I think everyone here can agree on the fact that climate change poses one of the biggest threats to life on this planet, and that our inaction is damning future generations to an uncertain existence.

In your opinion, what are some of the most efficacious environmental organizations?
