Dawn Gibbons says she could handle being first lady and U.S. rep
I've met her, she's pretty high energy and I think the Dems need to get off their butts fast if they are going to come up with a decent challenger to her and Dean Heller who has also said he wants to run for Gibbons' vacated seat ...

(01-31) 13:29 PST RENO, Nev. (AP) --

Former state Assemblywoman Dawn Gibbons said Monday she wouldn't anticipate any difficultly balancing her duties as both Nevada's first lady and a member of Congress.

"I think I'm very much a multi-task person," said Dawn Gibbons, who intends to run for the 2nd District congressional seat held by her husband, Republican Rep. Jim Gibbons, if he decides to run for governor.

If he were elected governor and she congresswoman, she said she would carry out her duties as first lady by living in the governor's mansion in Carson City on weekends and during congressional breaks.

"I've been a mother. I've been a businesswoman. I've been a wife of a congressman. I've been an assemblyman -- assemblywoman," she said Monday on KRNV-TV's "Nevada Newsmakers."
