But I would have liked to have seen that. I met Cornel West after a panel discussion at my church a few months back. He's from the old school. He doesn't mince words and make many of his comments in a poetic justice like manner.

America’s Black Forum, the nationally syndicated weekly television news broadcast, has terminated its relationship with conservative pundit Armstrong Williams.

The action is in response to the admission by Williams that he received payments through Ketchum, Inc., a global public relations firm, to promote the Bush administration’s No Child Left Behind Act while acting as commentator for America’s Black Forum.

“Failure to disclose the potential conflict of interest has led to Mr. Williams’ dismissal and has impaired his credibility as a commentator expressing his own views,” said Byron Lewis, Jr., president and executive producer for America’s Black Forum. “As a respected television program with a 28-year history of presenting news and opinion, maintaining the journalistic integrity of our broadcast is our top priority.”

America’s Black Forum is a nationally syndicated television news broadcast seen on over 100 television stations across the country and on the TV One cable network. The program is hosted by Juan Williams of Fox News Sunday and James Brown of Fox NFL Sunday. The hosts are joined by commentators including former White House correspondent Deborah Mathis and NAACP chair Julian Bond.

The other side tormented dems for 8 years over every teeny tiny real or imagined infraction with the aid of hysterical 24/7 media coverage. But their own suspect members - with the exception of DeLay, of course - immediately take a dive and drop out of sight to avoid even a fraction of the same, with the evident complicity of a suddenly moderate press corps.

Williams got off a parting shot by saying he wasn't the only one and that to me is more significant than his current humiliation. He isn't the only and that's what we should be concentrating on, especially considering the donations pouring in to help 'promote' Social Security reform.

to "Islamo-fascism." Well, this really did not sit well with West, Julian Bond, or Juan Williams, who kept hectoring him until he finally--after a commercial--gave in and apologized. This gave Dr. West the chance to talk about the importance of civil debate in democratic societies and to indict Williams for falling down on the job.

Williams is just repugnant. It was good to see two icons like Bond and West slap him around a bit. He didn't know what hit him because, of course, he is accustomed to getting away with saying bullshit like that.
