Just wanted to introduce myself. I hit it pretty hard for a long time with booze and pills. Damn near drove myself crazy and it's a wonder I'm still alive. I must have some of that Keith Richards type of DNA that kept all that stuff from eating away at my guts too much.

Celebrated 3.5 years of sobriety on Jan. 1st and it is the greatest source of pride in my life. These days, I survive on a punishing regiment of Marlboro's and Red Bull.

I'm not much good at giving advice but I'm glad to offer any support I can. :fistbump:

so I'm into my third president sober (well 4th I guess if you count GHWBush's lame duck session)

or he just switched to booze in pill form from a friendly WH Doc

he's had too many 'facial injuries' and 'falls' and slurred press conferences to think anything else IMO
