Michelle Lissel leaves FSW Report, joins Toronto FC as PR Director

Canadian sports television personality Michelle Lissel will leave her position as anchor of FOX Sports World Report to join the expansion Toronto FC of Major League Soccer (MLS) as its Media and Public Relations Director.

Ms. Lissel spent 8 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba working at Global Television, first as a local sports news reporter and anchor on CKND-TV 12 (Global Winnipeg), then as an anchor of Global SportsLink on FOX Sports World Canada (FSWC) when FSWC was launched on October 1, 2001. Global SportsLink was renamed FOX Sports World Report on October 1, 2002 when FOX Sports International (FSI) purchased the rights to air the show in the United States on FOX Sports World (now FOX Soccer Channel).

Ms. Lissel is scheduled to anchor her final episode of FOX Sports World Report on Friday, September 22 at 10pm Eastern/7pm Pacific with co-anchor Jeremy St. Louis and soccer analyst Bobby McMahon.
