Because no one posts here anymore
I'll just write to myself a reminder:

August 10, 2007. Just saw TIVO of David Beckham debut last night in DC. Though he's a gimpy, he's the best player on the field.... by far. My prediction came true. As far as wins go, his signing means little without a real forward. Edson Buddle! My god, what a horrific finisher. My U-16 girls team has strikers with more courage and quick thinking in the box than Buddle. And Carlos Pavon. You are on a short leash. This team needs a real finisher real bad. This is where Galaxy must spend money in offseason. This year is over. Let Becks finish the year/tour without getting hurt and then plan better for next year.

1. don't you understand?
(and I was at that game, good times, VAMOS United!) there is no more money to spend! How many Designated Players will the Galaxatives be able to squeeze in? they are already losing Landycakes (at $900,000, he's gotta go) and Pavon probably. it's a mess.

and those were some fabulous balls golden balls struck, no?

4. I am assuming Huddink is involved w/ Beckham's team?
Not sure since I have no way to keep up with soccer teams other than those covered on the one lone satellite channel signal I subscribe to which is the Brazilian channel.

I was just responding to the statement that "no one posts here
anymore."

This forum gets quite a few hits around world cup time. (2.5 years from now!)

I only have access to whatever soccer is programmed through the Brazilian channel.

Where I live in Tennessee, soccer is only a curiosity on the part of the local population; anyway, I never tune into Local News here either other than a quick glance at the Sunday newspaper.

And hello and thanks for the answer back!!!!:hi:
