Gunners get Nasri
It had been widely reported that The Gunners were tracking the creative midfielder ahead of the 2008/09 season.

And Sky Sports News has revealed that manager Arsene Wenger has secured his man for a fee of €20million (£15.8million).

The 20-year-old becomes Wenger's second capture of the summer following teenager Aaron Ramsey's switch from Cardiff City.

The transfer of Nasri is expected to spell the end for unsettled midfielder Alexander Hleb, amid rumoured interest from Barcelona and Internazionale.

1. they can't afford it
They're going to have to sell somebody for more. Hleb will probably be part of that money.

I have my doubts that Milan can afford what the Gunners are demanding for Adebayor. They're either going to drop the price or find another buyer. I honestly can't think of any club that can afford him that really needs him...

Ajax? They've got Huntelaar.

Chelski? :spray: Maybe if they lose Drogba to Milan and use the cash to buy Adebayor. They're overloaded up front even without Drogba.

Liverpool? Torres works best as a lone striker.

Man Utd? Even more overloaded than Chelsea. Barcelona, Bayern, and Real Madrid fit this description, too.

Other Italian teams? Mourinho has his eyes elsewhere and Roma & Juventus don't have the cash.

2. done deal
SAMIR NASRI has revealed his delight at finally completing his switch to Arsenal.

The midfielder has joined the Gunners in a £12million move from Marseille.

And France international Nasri, 21, is relishing the chase for silverware next season.
