2. Tx
we looked like S*** yesterday- I knew we would miss Xabi's passing abilities but it was shocking! We were standin, outpaced and outplayed all over the pitch. Clearly Rafa has to change his tactics not having Alonso bombing from the back or feeding the wingers it is a total collapse. Lucas (who I dislike even though he is only 22)played ok. Glen Johnson was quality other than that we were crap. Gerrard was clearly not fit and Skrtl and JC clashing heads didn't help matters any.

3. Oh dear.
Yes, Liverpool were pretty dreadful (relatively speaking - Arsenal oozed class against Everton, and all their title rivals won) and the news this morning is even worse, if you believe the newspapers. Apparently Benitez is being given a mere pittance to sign players before the transfer deadline (and they desperately need a central defender, and, in my opinion, have needed a striker for a LONG time); all is not well at Anfield.

It is safe to say that messrs Hicks and Gillett are not exactly popular on Merseyside this morning. Well, the red half, at least....

4. If they showed their faces in Liverpool I fear for their lives

they promised a new stadium, money for transfers and they have not started digging or unclenched their wallets. The problem is do we want to be owned by Yanks, Sheiks or Russian mobsters as there is no alternative because the fans can't raise enough money or run a football club.
