Do you never plan for possibilities that are not under your control?

Have you ever purchased insurance?

22. Oh I see....
So because I mocked the idea that Osama will be captured by US forces im afraid huh? Do you think perhaps its because the US govt. doesn't want to catch him? I mean if you think they actually do you are very naive. Its not in the best interest of this Administration and their Saudi allies.

24. Catch him?
We won't be any catching him? The best we will ever get is a framed photo of a bloodied up dead guy who resembles Osama bin Laden after a couple of 500 pound bombs are dropped on or near him while hiding in a safe house.

Hell, we won't even know if it is the fat Osama or the skinny Osama. And nobody will care either.

That is what I am saying.

9. Is what I am suggesting is that Bush holds all the cards
Bush and his minions can make things appear to happen that didn't necessarily happen the way they say it did. We have seen it before.

We would probably do well to keep all of our bases covered knowing that.

Missing Iraq Weapons Concern U.N.

Satellite Imagery Shows Material Has Been Removed From 109 Sites

(CBS/AP) U.N. satellite imagery experts have determined that material that could be used to make biological or chemical weapons and banned long-range missiles has been removed from 109 sites in Iraq, U.N. weapons inspectors said in a report obtained Thursday.

U.N. inspectors have been blocked from returning to Iraq since the U.S.-led war in 2003 so they have been using satellite photos to see what happened to the sites that were subject to U.N. monitoring because their equipment had both civilian and military uses.

"Particularly because of the continued insurgency in Iraq, U.N. weapons experts are concerned about missing biological and chemical weapons," said CBS News Foreign Affairs Analyst Pamela Falk from the U.N. "Satellite imagery has its limits and inspection experts are hoping to be able to get back into Iraq to find out if the weapons are missing or were destroyed."

In the report to the U.N. Security Council, acting chief weapons inspector Demetrius Perricos said he's reached no conclusions about who removed the items or where they went. He said it could have been moved elsewhere in Iraq, sold as scrap, melted down or purchased.

Even Bush knew that.

30. Hold on a minute here
UN satellites showed material that COULD have been used "to make biological or chemical weapons and banned long range missiles" WAS in Iraq as late as 2003? Is that what you're saying?

UN weapons experts were "concerned about missing biological and chemical weapons" in 2003?

Were there WMD in Iraq in 2003 or not?

I've taken on faith the information that I hear from AP, UPI, Reuters, Al-Jazeera, and every other "trusted" news source that says THERE WERE NONE.

Were they there, or weren't they?

33. From the same article:
>>>The report also provided much more detail about the percentage of items no longer at the places where U.N. inspectors monitored them.<<<

Everything had been under UN monitor since 1991. Until Bush invaded.

37. Having material to make WMD doesn't mean they have ALL needed or that it's
all usuable in the form they have it in. If you want to get technical, if that were the case, one could say that Home DePot and Lowes has material to make "WMDs". ;)

If WMD's.... REAL honest to goodness USABLE one's (unlike Sanatorum's recent "doa" kind) had been found or were absolutely known to be there and gone missing, we never would have heard the end of it from BushCo/Fox "news"... well... unless of course they wanted them to go missing for some reason....

23. No one is going to believe a photo.
Modern civilization makes us cynical and photos are so easy to manipulate. They will have to put the body on display (laugh if ya want), probably in the Rose Garden. It will give them a tremendous boost going into the 2008 elections. Senator Chuck Hagel will win in 2008. Just saying...

39. ummm...they believed the photo of Zarqawi
I do not believe one thing that this administration says. They created Zarqawi and at the political campaign season kick-off trotted a dead guy out that looked like him (after 2 500 lb bombs dropped on him, decimating his house and giving him a black eye) Where was the DNA, where was the proof? Not even a question about it in the media.

This society, that voted for Bush on a pack of lies will believe anything.

I would not put it past this administration to trot out a picture of dead Bin Laden, in September (just before troop withdrawl)
