Survivors of troops fallen this month in Afghanistan outraged over shutdown
Fair enough. However, I'd be much more outraged over the death of my loved one in a pointless and probably illegal war than I would be over the fact that burial services and benefits are delayed.

However, the incredibly long Afghan war is a bipartisan fuck up while each side can claim the shut down is solely the fault of "the other side." No one is pushing anti-war propaganda, but almost everyone is pushing red team v. blue team propaganda.

Shame on almost everyone.

1. There is plenty of justification behind their outrage.
The very existence of the misguided Afghan War is reason enough.

I will say it again.

No nation state attacked us on 911 even if you believe the official 911 "story".

Afghanistan was hardy an organized state at the time anyway.

The Afghanistan War is not the "good" or justifiable war. No way. The President should have recognized that. But he should recognize a lot of things that he doesn't.

The Afghan War was a jerk off from day one.

It only served to stroke the Neo-Con penis.

It has been a complete waste except for the war profiteers, the ones that should be swinging from the end of a rope.

Every life given and every dollar spent has been a complete waste.

The war has actually been COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.

2. Agree, but no one (save thee and me) is talking about outrage over the war itself
(On a very minor point, I would take issue with use of the word term "neo con.")
