You have been blindsided by emerging photos... for a second time. It's clear that Sy Hersh and Sen. Lindsey Graham have either seen the additional photographs and video(s?), or have been extensively briefed by someone who has. Yes, you can get blindsided again, Mr. President, no matter if you wish really really really extra hard that the bad news would go away.

You thought it would end, George, at showing your disgust and blaming it on a few "rotten apples." When that didn't work, you took it straight to the "Arab World" with your insincere regret and not-quite-apologies. When you failed again to respond in a matter that satisfied the media and the people of the world, you decided to apologize to the leader of Jordan; you told us about it a few moments later in the Rose Garden. You also quicky dispatched your most trusted sidekicks, Cheney and Condi, to run to the defense of Secretary Rumsfeld. By the way, has anyone seen Colin Powell?

Guess what, George? Once again, you're the last to know. It's likely that while you're wringing your hands and stalling, continuing to deny the turmoil swirling within and without your presidency, as you are prone to do, one of these "big time fancy journalists" will hit pay dirt, and the dreaded photo/video will show up in a worldwide primetime exclusive. I'm thinking mid-week.
