20. It definitely seems to be a southern thing.
My wife is from NC and shortly after she moved up here she was showing me family pictures. Her dad died in 1986, and she pulls out these pictures of his gravesite, and then there's some from the wake, showing his body right there in the coffin!

Yeah, I am not usually freaked out by things like that but it just really took me by surprise. I had never seen or heard of anyone doing that here in MN either.
