Even though the entire "Operation Reelect Bush" maneuvering of the aircraft carrier (delaying the sailors' return home after their tour at sea) was precisely SO Bush could be flown out to the ship (most expensive taxi ride in history) and be photographed on it. Just so coincidentally right where the banner could be seen while he was speaking. A banner he and his people had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with, oh no no no.
The worst thing is, his lies seem to work. He keeps telling the same obscene bullshit over and over and over again and the gelded press refuses to even attempt to call him on it, and the braindead American public eats it up and comes back for more. And John Kerry wants to be president of this benighted land. God help us all.
