But I think they really are looking for concessions, ie money. They have no real economy. They are a parasitic nation looking for an infusion of cash.
There are reserves in Europe and at home that could be used in an open war. Open being like gw1 and the beginning of gw2. Massive military strikes from the air. General bombing of cities and military assets. They would be hit hard from air and sea the minute the crossed the 38th and would get no reprieve. Infantry assaults, not guerrilla win the peace kind of actions. Nuclear weapons don't have to be used to run over NK. NK knows this. South Korea is not a pushover and would not sit by and be overrun.
They haven't done anything yet. They have had plenty of time to exploit the Iraq situation, they have not.
This is a pattern for them, they have always been big saber rattlers, for as long as I can remember. Nothing new about this weenie shake.
