Many won't vote because they "just don't care"

The way our neo-conservative friends would put it:

"thats the way it has been and always will be, and you can't change it"
As they continue to fork over their dollars into the system

This is actually part of the bottom line argument I had with 7 republicans and I (the only Dem.), just the other day.

Their stance was that the Dems put us into this by opening up the borders and caused 9/11
"You forget *..., we were attacked!".
My response to this was that Bush should have shut it down and was complicit through Cheney and, even worse the neocons needed a Riechstag fire or Pearl Harbor. This is where they REALLY went off. "Where did you here that?" They squeal and start sliding off their chairs.."Your nuts!"

I, personally have read all the documentation PNAC,CIA,FBI,MOSSAD,SAUDI'S Bush not shutting the borders down, etc.
I would imagine, I am further left wing than most of you here.

But will they will not hear any part of that NO!!! because "You read it on the Internet" and then they totally discount you. "The internet is full of whacko's" is their stance.

I have read all the conspiracy's from remote control 9/11 to bohemian grove, to the bilderbergs. They will hear none of it and even if you told them they would say "I believe it but I DON'T CARE. I will still vote for Bush."

They have been brainwashed by the system and are at the point THEY DO NOT CARE so thier only answer will be to vote REPUB. or to NOT vote at all because THEY TRUST NOBODY! Not Democrats nor Republicans

Folks, we have a serious % of Americans who WILL NOT VOTE in this country because they have GIVEN UP on the system. Their firm belief is that it will be no different whether you vote DEM or REPUB. My guess is 30% of the population feels this way.

The sad part is the other % of the country knows they are being screwed and knows there is a conspiracy but IF they vote they will still vote Repub. i.e., they will "just to go along with it."

I discussed the Constitution and the Founding Fathers...their answer is that "times are different now" "we are at war"
My response: "just wait until the indictments come down, they say "what indictments? it's ALREADY BEEN passed over. We have a Repub Congress It'll never happen"

Valerie Plame... "f... Valerie Plame..who cares about V. Plame, It''ll never happen" was their response

...actually they would not even believe the fact that the WH manipulated the evidence. They WILL NOT BUY THAT CONCEPT.

We talked about Patriotism and serving your country. Their answer is of course..."if the Pres. says we go...we go."

Actually my major bottom line to them WAS this:

Your King George and his cohort Dick are going down." They(the repugs) will not buy this because the Congress is controlled by Repubs.

The whole hypocrisy is that they already know all the deceit, lying & collusion but "it doesn't matter because that is the way it is and that is the way it has always been....and YOU can't change it."

The crux of the problem I see is that we have, in this country today , a WHOLE bunch of every day people who just DON'T CARE.


I call that...MIND CONTROL & brainwashing through the general media and years and years of propoganda.

I call that...Your government spreading manure "ON A NEED TO KNOW BASIS"

Well the wealth spigot that flows into real hard working Americans pockets who have helped to build this country working as tradesman HAS BEEN CUT OFF. I'm seeing it first hand

The other 30% will never get the real picture OR they do know the picture but don't care because it doesn't matter whom you vote for,
it's all the same...the little guy will continue to get screwed and the wealth spread will continue to separate.

I am concerned...I am very concerned

I am a Micro-enterprise business owner who's revenue depended on high end niche oriented projects. It's over, the spigot has been cut off, where has the money gone?...I could lose everything right here my house, my business, everything, but nobody cares, and DOES not believe. They all still think things are wonderful. Well folks it's hitting the wallet now and it's going to get worse. The fat lady has not sung yet and the big boys (pigs) aren't squealing
