What will it take for Americans to revolt?
Advertisements [?]
* The cost of a Doctor's visit to be more than what they make per week (if they're insured, the uninsured already pay all this and more)?

* Americans can't get jobs because of mandatory psychological tests to "weed out potential loose cannons, thieves, and troublemakers" - guilty by default, forget being innocent?

Well, that stuff is already happening and nobody gives a frick because they've got jobs with insurance that does cover, so let's concentrate on what people DO give a frick about:

* How about the price of movies going up to $30 per flick per person?

* TV shows are 15 minutes long with 15 mins of commercials (hey, since 1980 when the advert increase started, we've gained 7.5 minutes of commercials per 30 minute time slot)

* The cost of one person for just one ticket to a baseball game is $50, let alone the cost of the hot dogs and beer... (or if it is already $50, try $100 just for a poor seat.)

* The FCC forces people to upgrade to copy-protection-enabled HDTV by 2006.

It used to be said that society is 3 meals short of a revolt.

I disagree. I say that society will remain content as long as it doesn't realize that it is being rudely exploited.
