which will mean that the Fundies will (despite all evidence to the contrary) blame us for her not succeeding.

Miers was terrible. But I fear we're about to experience something worse.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't oppose Miers...I did and do...it just means I'm very very worried that the nutburger we're likely to get next won't have her obvious flaws to the RWingers...and we'll have Scalia #2 sitting on SCOTUS.
