4. I talked to a guy today whose conservative friend
called him after the SOTU and said "all right, I'm on your side now".
He says he's always been conservative, but the SOTU was the last straw. Because of all the religious overtones and the promise to fight civil unions (or whatever you want to call it) thus making sure that some people have fewer rights than others.
I thought that was a good sign.
Hopefully the gay marriage wedge issue will totally backfire on the fuckers. Wouldn't that be SWEET.
