something tells me that will be in the Daily Howler tomorrow.

Mr. Matthews played part of the new Swift Boat ad, with the quotes from Kerry, in 1971 testifying before Congress, out of context (unclear if Kerry witnessed atrocities, participated therein, or whatever). Then he played the original testimony with context, clearly showing this is what other vets stated and that the new ad's insinuation is another new low. The scumbags should have been called on it, but Matthews doesn't even mention it. I cheered when they played the whole testimony, expecting a subsequent smackdown, but then realized someone got to Matthews.

Too bad. I guess Mr. Somerby will lay the smackdown in tomorrow's edition.
