His philosophy and writing are the foundation and framework
of the PNAC documents.
Completely void of any moral or ethical considerations,
a view of power that completely eliminates any
human consideration- cold and calculatied social
engineering, plain and simple.
He often echoed Plato, but without the morality.
Plato taught that only those of highest moral character
could be trusted to lead, for they alone were the only
members of society who were capable of resisting
the corruption that power brings.
The Straussian twist was that moral character was
a silly notion, that there was no such thing and that
those who held power should indeed decieve the
people because they were not fit to think for themselves
and not fit to lead, only to be led, at any cost.
We have a Straussian government.
That should scare the hell out of anyone
who even slightly comprehends how Strauss
translated Plato.
