I posted something buried in a different thread regarding the allegation frequently made on DU that Bush is not a real Texan.

The responses I got were that he did not spend his formative years in Texas (which years are these generally considered?), never held a job in Texas, and that his accent is fake.

If you know of a documented website detailing W*'s earlier years please post. JH Hatfield's "Fortunate Son" places him squarely in Texas until Andover (no date provided). I can't get anything but recent crap on Google.

Help? (Documented help preferred.)
