and always will be the wealthy who stand to profit from the republican agenda. The poor trailer-trash rednecks as you call them don't turn out to vote nearly as much as the wealthy do anyway -- the rich have much more at stake. I'm in Texas, and speaking for the area I live, I can tell you our middle-class hard-working people around here mostly voted Democrat, and the majority of signs in the trailer parks & low-income areas were Kerry/Edwards. The rich neighborhoods where the CEOs and doctors live were where all the bush signs filled the yards & SUV bumpers. You will always have the idiots who are easily brainwashed or vote on a single issue rather than the big picture -- this is one reason I wish the Democrats would make more of a point of keeping the focus on the fact that Repub vs Dem boils down to Rich vs Everyone Else rather than letting the repubs sidetrack the less informed population with their bullshit issues that they really don't intend to change anyway. (Just my outspoken hormonally-enhanced opinion -- LOL -- still pissed off from last night when the owner of a company my husband works for proceeded to try to lecture me on the *wonderful* things the bush administration has been doing & will do in the years to come... won't even go there since you have all been through this too I'm sure...)
