What. The. Fuck. Not only are we subjected to weeks upon weeks of these two, but a feature-length movie that ressurects every reason why the beach blanket movie genre died off DECADES ago? And isn't there supposed to be some sort of cooling off period between becoming a pop star with an overinflated sense of talent, and letting that overinflated sense of talent tell you that you can act? Hell, even Mariah Freakin' Carey waited several years before committing the atrocity of "Glitter"--another movie I haven't seen and hate anyway, but still, at least Mariah is easy on the eyes. Sure, Kelly's pretty, in that girl-next-door-but-I'd-never-touch-her-at-least-not-sober-but- I'm-sure-she'll-find-a-nice-dentist-to-marry-and- end-up-driving-her-kids-around-in-a-minivan-in-front-of-me-and-pissing-me-off-in-traffic, but Justin? Justin is one of those guys that is begging for a punch in the nose. Not that I'd ever do it, because I'd be afraid that his hair would leap off his massive skull and attack me.
