He's now a judge on the American Idol rip-off "Nashville Star." I watch it, because there's this one rockabilly contestant who's just awesome. Anyway...

Bret's a judge on the show, and it's just so funny to me how he morphed from hair-band frontman to country-show nobody judge. He wears a bandana with a cowboy hat on top of it, and tries to look like a country tough guy. What's even funnier than that is that, for some reason, the country music crowd seems to accept him...they must have never seen him perform in full make-up, big girlie hair, and spandex pants.

Bret now: Bret 1980s:

I wasn't a big Poison fan--saw them in concert, but thought their opener, Cinderella was much better--but it's fun to watch him grovel to the country crowd. If you haven't seen the show, you ought to just tune in tonight at 9:00 on USA for the finale. It's at least worth it to watch the rockabilly guy perform.
