Sweet USENET post from the Houston Astros Newsgroup:

This series is far from over. There is no way the Astros are going to
lose tonight. That just wouldn't be their style. Instead of losing and
putting me out of my misery, they will find a way to win the next 2
games, and get my hopes up just enough to get crushed once again.
You'll see, after the Astros win the next 2 there will be talk of..."we
feel pretty confident going to Chicago with Pettite and Oswalt pitching
the last 2 games"

Then, in Chicago, they will have a 38-0 lead with 2 outs, nobody on,
and 2 strikes with a quadriplegic ball girl at the plate. Which will be
followed by 42 infield singles to slowly suck the life out of me.

Oh well, at least we have a kick ass football team.
