Kucinich's Date gets engaged....to someone else
Advertisements [?]
One date with Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich may have been enough to convince Gina Marie Santore she didn't want to be out there any more. The 34-year-old aide to the Camden County Sheriff is now engaged to Robert Miller, a 39-year-old chef from Philadelphia. Santore was the winner of a national "Who Wants To Be A First Lady" contest sponsored by PoliticsNH.com after Kucinich, the only bachelor in the field of presidential candidates, said at a forum: "As a bachelor, I get a chance to fantasize about my first lady. And you know maybe Fox will want to sponsor it as a national contest or something." On December 11, Santore flew to Manchester, New Hampshire for a date with Kucinich -- and a horde of local and national media. "If I had known it would only take an hour with a congressman (to finally get engaged), I would've called Rob Andrews to request a meeting," said Santore, who worked on Andrews' congressional staff ten years ago.
