7. That is Sammy the Perfect Cat
Thanks for asking. I got her when my blind grandma was taking care of us, because my parents had gone out of town to my cousins graduation. She was free at a pet store and she was yelling at me to take her home. I almost didn't. But I thought "Gramma's blind. She'll never know." So i saved her from going to the pound.

I tried to keep her in my room, but she got out. she ran in front of 'Blind' Gramma.

I need to segue here. Gramma was an incredible woman and seamstress. She got ill, they gave her some drug, and it made her blind. She walked around the house and said "God love me. I'm blind"

So anyway, Miss Sammy runs across the path of 'God love me, I'm blind' Gramma and she says "What was that!?!"
I said "Charlie Brown!" our half Maine Coon cat.
She said "NO! That's not Charlie! You are LYING! That's a KITTEN!"
I said "Gramma, I thought you were blind!!!"

I didn't realise she had meant "God love me, I'm LEGALLY blind."

I had Sammy 18 years. She had been with me over half my life.

She went with me through my parents divorce, never forgave my mom for taking her to be spayed, and when she died, 18 years ago, it was the last link really in my life to my young life.

She outlasted both grammas (grampas dead before her) and my mom, my one LTR (She loved my bf) took long walks along the beach at Kamilche with me, and overcame her fear of rushing water to walk along the Rogue River as well.

I love her still and love that I can have her post with me. One of her many nick names was 'Miss Kitty'
