go to www.snopes.com to see whether there's been any research on the topic. 99% of the time I find the topic already on the site and about 70-80% of the time it's completely false. I usually send a link to the report back to the sender and ask them to disseminate the info to everyone they sent the email to originally. Rarely do they do this (unless they just don't copy me on it). Actually, I really wish people would just check www.snopes.com before they ever even forward these emails on to other people. It would cut down on forwarded emails by a huge percentage.

But, in the case of the MSG email, I was surprised to find that the subject has not been covered. I would suggest, though, that you send the email to the people at this site for further research. They may find the answer for you.
