Mr. P himself lives in Orange County, California, far south; I'm just his avatar.
The local Shoshone used to worship me as a primordial earth-and-water deity of the id and subconscious back in the 1600's, but even a bird-lizard thing punished by the gods ages ago gets boring, I guess.
I still remember when the gold panners came by occasionally in the 60's and 70's (1860's, that is), but Beatty was right next door, though my "influence" extended to Rhyolite.
