Hot sauce in the Belfast Crown Pub?

So I'm watching Bourdain: No Reservations and he's sitting in a well known Irish pub eating stew, meat pie and having a Guinness (looks really, really good btw) and there's a bottle of tobacco sauce sitting next to his elbow, in a spot that looks like he used it (I didn't notice it earlier and it's close to him as opposed to just sitting at the end of the table).

What the heck is he putting Tabasco sauce on in that meal?
